It is a great pleasure to see our customer in India winning the JEOL Annual World TEM Image Competition with an image captured using an EMSIS camera.
Congratulations to the team of Siddhi Redkar of Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer(ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre!
Their TEM image “Idea !!!,” acquired on a JEOL JEM-1400 PLUS and EMSIS Tengra camera, features a swollen mitochondrion whose form resembles a glowing light bulb. The name is a clever double entendre, fitting both the overall visual effect of the image and highlighting the value of transmission electron microscopy images for pathological analysis. Furthermore, the image’s contrast and sharpness are near perfect, making the award well-deserved.
